New Hope Kids

New Hope Kids

A safe and fun place for kids to learn about Jesus.

Our Heart for Kids

We know visiting a new church can feel overwhelming, especially when you have kids. At New Hope Kids, we want every family to feel welcomed and at ease while children learn about Jesus in a safe, fun, and encouraging environment.

Our Classes

Little Sprouts

6 weeks – kindergarten

Little Sprouts is our nursery and early childhood environment designed to provide a safe and caring space for our youngest children. Our trained volunteers care for infants and toddlers while helping preschool and kindergarten-age children begin learning about God through simple Bible stories, songs, and activities.

Kids Town

1st – 6th Grade

Kids in 1st through 6th grade begin the service with their families and are dismissed to Kids Town after worship and before the message begins. In their classrooms they experience Bible teaching, interactive activities, and small group discussions designed to help them grow in their understanding of God and His Word.

Special Environments

Family Room

Our family room is available for parents with infants or young children who may need a quieter space during the service. From this room, you can still watch and listen to the message through our live stream while caring for your child.

Parents are always welcome to step in and out of this space as needed.

Special Needs

Every child matters to us, and we want every family to feel welcomed and supported at New Hope Kids. If your child may benefit from additional support during Sunday services, we would love to partner with you to help create a comfortable experience.

Please complete our Special Accommodations Form, and a member of our team will follow up with you.

Our Core Values

Creative Bible Teaching
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We bring Bible stories to life through activities and conversations that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s Word and understand its value in their lives.

Kid Friendly
Everything from our environments, to the language we use in our lessons, to our small group materials are created with your child’s age and stage in mind.

Relationships
We want kids to know there are people at church who care about them. As families commit to attending the same service each week, children are placed in a small group of familiar faces where relationships can grow.

Fun
Kids love fun! We create fun ways for children to learn about Jesus, including games, activities, singing, and live acting. When children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back.

Safety
We take lots of steps before kids arrive to keep them safe. Every toy and environment gets cleaned and sanitized. And, every volunteer is screened with an interview and federal background check. Our whole team — from staff members to small group leaders to safety personnel — are trained to keep your kids safe.

Safety & Classroom Policies

For security and attendance, all children must be checked in by a parent or guardian at the check-in desk in the foyer. You’ll receive a matching security tag that must be shown at pick-up. Little Sprouts (nursery–Kindergarten) may be dropped off to their classroom no earlier than 9:50 AM and picked up after the service. Kids Town (1st–6th grade) begins in the main service and is dismissed during the service. Parents pick up their children from their classroom after the service.
To help keep everyone healthy, please keep your child home if they have had any of the following within the last 24 hours: • Fever • Vomiting or diarrhea • Persistent cough or severe cold symptoms • Any contagious illness Children should be symptom-free for 24 hours before returning.
If your child has food allergies or medical concerns, please let us know when checking in so our team can help keep your child safe. Please make sure your child’s allergy is noted on their check-in ID tag for our volunteer staff. Parents are also encouraged to communicate any specific needs or instructions with our volunteers.
The safety of every child is very important to us. Our children’s building remains secure during programming. To enter, please ring the doorbell at the top of the ramp by the gym, and a volunteer will let you in. All children’s ministry volunteers are screened and trained to provide a safe, caring environment, including background checks and yearly NAZ Safe volunteer training.
If a child needs to use the restroom during class, a volunteer will escort them and ensure they return safely to their classroom. For younger children, we recommend parents take them to the restroom before class begins when possible.
